A traditional Bengali wedding will have aiburobhaat the day before the wedding, bashi biye, the day after and bou-bhaat when the new bride serves the elders in the family in her in-law’s family. And of course there is gaye holud on the morning of the wedding both at the bride’s place and the groom.
